How does the guarantee work?
It applies to your first purchase of a paid plan, including if you started on the free plan. Within 30 days of your order, contact support from your account email with your order number: we refund what you paid for the first period to the same card, no questions asked. It also applies if you started on the free plan. The terms are in article 12-bis.
Can I try it for free?
Yes: there is a free plan, with no card and no expiry. Upgrade from your area when you need more volume or a dedicated IP, keeping your domain and credentials.
Do I need to change software or rewrite code?
No. In the software you already use, enter 4 details: server relay.mailsenpai.com, port 2525 or 587 with STARTTLS, username and password. Or use the API with a key. Your area has ready-made examples for PHP, WordPress and command line.
Does it work with WordPress, Laravel, Node, n8n or Zapier?
Yes: it works with any software that can send over SMTP. For WordPress a free plugin such as WP Mail SMTP is enough; frameworks and automation tools all have an “SMTP server” field.
My hosting blocks some SMTP ports: can I still use it?
Yes. You can use 2525, which many hosts leave open even when they close the classic ports 25 and 587, or 587 if it is 2525 that is blocked. If both are closed, send through the API, which goes over the web port.
Why do my emails land in spam, and what do you do differently?
Usually for three reasons: an unauthenticated domain (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), servers with a poor reputation, old or wrong addresses. We give you the exact DNS records to publish and check them, sign your emails with DKIM, send from well-kept IPs and set aside addresses that bounce. A report in your area tells you what to improve.
What happens if I get lots of bounces or spam complaints?
For ordinary suspensions, we email you the reason and give you at least 48 hours to remedy it. For serious risks to the service, IP reputation or compliance with the law, we may suspend immediately and notify you straight afterwards. Hard bounces and spam complaints enter the do-not-contact list automatically. The affected emails are not sent through the API or website forms and do not use up your volume.
What if I run out of emails for the month?
You choose. “Stop”: sending pauses until next month, no charges. “Keep sending”: extra emails are billed in blocks of 1,000 at the per-thousand price stated in your order, up to the spending cap you set. We alert you at 50, 80 and 100% of your volume.
Can I increase my volume mid-term?
Yes, whenever you like from your area: you pay only the difference for the remaining months and the new volume is active right away. The same goes for a dedicated IP, support or extra domains.
How fast can I send?
On the free plan, up to 30 emails in the preceding hour. Paid sending speed depends on your plan volume: below 160,000 emails a month you can add 2,000 emails/hour speed. A dedicated IP is included from 150,000 emails a month, and 10,000 emails/hour speed from 160,000. From 1,000,000 a month you can choose higher paid speeds, up to 90,000 emails/hour.
Do I need a dedicated IP?
No dedicated IP is included in the free plan: it uses an IP shared by free accounts and separate from paid plans. Dedicated IP is available on paid plans from €15 a month (annual plan), included from 150,000 emails a month. We warm it up step by step over the first 4 weeks.
Can I use several sending domains?
The free plan includes one sending domain. On paid plans you can add more domains (from €2.45 a month each): we verify them like the first, with their own DNS records.
How long can I see my sending log?
7 days on the free plan and 90 on paid plans, line by line: delivered, bounced with the reason, deferred and reported. Search by address, domain or reason and filter by outcome. The same data is available through the API.
Can I use it for my website contact form?
Yes, it’s included. Create an address, put it in the form’s “action” (even on a static site) and every message reaches you by email, with anti-bot filter, auto-reply, archive and CSV export.
Can I send newsletters and promotions?
Yes, if recipients have given consent. For campaigns with an editor, lists and automations there is the MailSenpai platform; the relay is built for your app’s and website’s emails.
Where are the servers? What about privacy?
Servers and data in the European Union. Documentation and tickets on the free plan; paid plan support according to the chosen plan. Clear invoicing and prices in euro for purchases.
How do I cancel?
You can close your free account from your area at any time; it has no renewal or charge. On a paid plan, cancel from “My plan” before the renewal date.
