Frequently asked questions

Do I need to rewrite my code?

No. In the software you already use, enter 4 details: server relay.mailsenpai.com, port 2525 with STARTTLS, username and password. If you prefer, there’s an API with a key. In your area you’ll find ready-made examples for PHP, WordPress and the command line.

Can I test it without switching off my current provider?

Yes. Until you change the 4 details, your sending stays where it is: you can connect a test environment or a single app first, and move the rest when you’re ready. Your SPF record can include both services.

I use an API today, not SMTP. What do I do?

Two options: switch to SMTP, which almost every language and framework supports, or use our API: POST /relay/v1/invio with your msp_ key in the Authorization: Bearer header. Via the API you can also read statistics, events and excluded addresses.

Why do you need a card if the trial is free?

It keeps out people who send spam, which would damage everyone’s reputation. We charge nothing today and we email you 3 days before the trial ends. If you cancel from your area before it ends, you pay nothing.

Where do the comparison prices come from?

From each provider’s official pricing page: the link is under each name. We took the smallest plan that covers about 10,000 emails a month, in the currency shown on that page. Brevo also counts newsletters in the same volume. We don’t compare deliverability or service quality: they aren’t publicly verifiable data. Prices change often, so the provider’s page is always the reference.
