Three steps
Install the module
Download the zip below and upload it from Modules › Module Manager › Upload a module.
Paste your API key
In Configure choose API key and paste the key from your customer area, SMTP Senpai page. Or choose SMTP relay with username and password.
Test and check your domain
On the same page, send the test email and check SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX of your sender domain.

Sending with the API key (over HTTPS, also where the host blocks SMTP ports) or the SMTP relay, test email, sender domain check, account status and email log. It does not change PrestaShop files. Version 1.0.1, for PrestaShop 1.7.6 to 9. Open source, AFL 3.0 licence.
Frequently asked questions
Which PrestaShop versions are supported?
From 1.7.6 to 9. The module was tested on PrestaShop 8.2 and 9.0 with PHP 8.3.
API key or SMTP?
The API key sends over HTTPS and also works where the host blocks SMTP ports. With SMTP, PrestaShop connects to the relay on port 2525 or 587: the module writes the details into the e-mail settings of the shop and can restore the previous ones.
Can I do without the module?
Yes: enter the details shown here in Advanced Parameters › E-mail. On PrestaShop 9 leave Encryption on None: on port 2525 or 587 the connection is protected with STARTTLS, which starts automatically.
How do Bcc recipients work?
With the API key every recipient, Bcc included, receives an individual copy and does not see the other addresses.
